On March 26, 2026, Mutant Collectibles and Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Edgar Wright’s 2025 sci-fi action thriller The Running Man. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Oscar-winner Steven Price (Gravity, Last Night in Soho, Baby Driver). Steven Price’s score for The Running Man is a mix of propulsive beats, gurgling synths, and traditional orchestral elements that fizz with invention and style. The tracks that accompany the game show segments are fun, bombastic, and retro, contrasting the more sinister, dystopian pieces scattered throughout.
Featuring artwork by Luke Preece, the vinyl edition is pressed on 2LP 140 gram color vinyl, housed in a custom O-Card. The release also contains a replica “The Truth” zine from the film featuring exclusive liner notes by Edgar Wright and composer Steven Price.
On the same date, the soundtrack is also released on Compact Disc.
Directed and co-written by Edgar Wright and based on the novel by Stephen King, The Running Man follows a working-class father named Ben Richards (played by Glen Powell). Richards is desperate to save his sick daughter, leading him to enter a deadly television game show competition. The show, called “The Running Man,” centers on contestants that must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins. The father’s instincts, defiance, and grit turn him into an unexpected fan favorite – and a threat to the entire system.
