After its successful world premiere in June 2025, during the Tribeca Film Festival, Depeche Mode: M is being released in movie theaters and IMAX on October 28, 2025.
The concert documentary explores Mexican culture’s relationship with death, framed by the iconic performances of alt-rock band Depeche Mode during their 2023 Memento Mori tour. Depeche Mode: M was conceived and directed by award-winning Mexican filmmaker Fernando Frías, capturing the band’s three sold-out shows in Mexico City, which were attended by more than 200,000 fans.
