Kowalski, who works for a car-delivery service, takes delivery of a 1970 Dodge Challenger to transport from Colorado to California. Shortly after the pickup, he takes a bet to get the car there in less than 15 hours. After run-ins with police, they start a chase to bring him into custody. Along the way, Kowalski is guided by Supersoul, a blind DJ with a police radio scanner, along with numerous supporters. Directed by Richard C. Sarafian, Vanishing Point stars Barry Newman, Cleavon Little, Charlotte Rampling, Dean Jagger, Victoria Medlin, Paul Koslo, Robert Donner and Timothy Scott.
