The Lincoln Futura Concept Batmobile was based on the 1955 Lincoln Futura Concept that was powered by a 368 cubic inch Lincoln engine and powertrain. The chassis was an early prototype Y-shaped backbone perimeter frame that would go into production on the 1956 and 1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II. Barris Kustoms created the automobiles for the television series.
